Pacific Hire’s branches remain open and we have been actively monitoring Government and World Health Organisation (WHO) advice regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus). We have  implemented meaningful actions that prioritise the health and wellbeing of our people, suppliers, customers and the community. Pacific Hire is Australian owned and proud of it, we appreciate your support as our customers and suppliers. We ask if you are diagnosed with COVID-19 and have been in contact with any of our staff, suppliers or equipment, please contact us directly on 1300 722 132 so we can keep everyone safe.


Protecting Customers, Our People & Our Community

At Pacific Hire we continue to maintain and clean our equipment to the highest standards and them some. Since COVID-19 emerged, we have implemented additional cleaning procedures for our equipment starting at collecting from sites, our drivers use disposable gloves to operate equipment, they also antibacterial spray before loading onto trucks and vehicles. The workshops decontaminate all equipment by way of hot washing equipment with soap and degreaser, sanitize and antibacterial clean all steering wheels, handles, control levers, and remote controls.

Our staff are being regularly updated with any additional hygienic tasks suggested by the Australian Government or WHO, and are well supplied with appropriate soaps, wipes, and personal protective equipment.

Our branches, offices and workshops are being regularly sanitised – engaging extra cleaning services to help keep workspaces and customer areas safe, this is happening every two days.

Pacific Hire have implemented “Working from Home” options for non-operational roles. We are also encouraging social distancing for employees who continue to serve our customers in operational and sales roles.

We continue to speak with our staff regarding social distancing, personal hygiene and ask our staff to take leave if they experience any cold or flu symptoms.


Assisting Customers, Our Staff & The Community

We have equipped our staff with technology for working from home, including remote meeting solutions like Skype, Facetime etc, so they can continue working and doing site inspections remotely. This helps encourage social distancing and maintains our social responsibility to others within the community.

Pacific Hire has brought all new equipment orders forward with our suppliers to add to our rapidly expanding fleet, this was we can ensure you as the customer can be supplied the best equipment in the industry without delays. Pacific Hire have also done this so we can assist you as the customer while continuing to support Australian businesses like Hualotte, Genie, Crommelins, Wacker Nueson and JLG.
